Even my 18 year old son had a great time at the golf course, pool and movie theatre. It sure beats the week we spent at the Mirage last year hands down. I have been to Vegas 10 times and this is the best trip to Nevada I have ever had. The employees (from housekeeping to grounds to dealers) were fantastic. The entire trip was relaxed (no wait for dining, easy access to everything on property, friendly people, tons of choices for slots/table games and great weather). Immediately at check in I was handed an envelope with our 10 movie tickets and 10 breakfast buffet vouchers for the 5 nights we were staying for. We arrived on Sunday evening at midnight and I couldn't believe it when we walked in and there was no one in line to check in. I had been on every website for the past few weeks before booking this hotel and didn't quite know what to expect due to some mixed reviews.

Whithout a question we will be going back to the Avi next time were are in Laughlin and we will refer all our family & friends to try the Avi. If you are a 'Hard Core Gambler' you may not like only the Avi casino to play games.

The location is about 7 miles away from all the other older hotels in Laughlin, but it a great relaxing aphmosphere. The buffet was excellent and very cheap too. The Avi has many places to eat with a wide variety of foods to enjoy. The pool area was very large and inviting for all to enjoy (except for the sunburn if you enjoy it too long). We upgraded to the Beach Tower king size room and the view of the pool area, beach, and Colorado river was fantastic! There were no unexpected charges for services and the rates were very affordable. There are so many options for thnigs to do, it would be hard pressd to find anyone that could not enjoy themselves at the Avi. The service from the staff was excellent from the time we checked-in to the time we checked-out. This was our 1st visit to the Avi Resort & Casino and it was absolutely wonderful.
